On July 12 the 19th "Ukraine-EU" summit will start in the capital of Ukraine by the working dinner of the EU leadership with President Petro Poroshenko.
The delegation of the European Union includes President of the Council of the EU, Donald Tusk, President of European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogerini, and other high-ranking officials.
On July 13 the plenary session of the summit will begin. It is expected that its participants will welcome the completion of ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, which will come into force on September 1. The relevant decision was taken by the leaders of the European Union on the eve during the meeting of the EU Council on Economic and Financial Issues.
