Due to the complicated weather conditions through operation of the system of protection of power lines there was a disruption in energy supply in 88 settlements in 7 regions. This is reported by the State Emergency Situations service.
Rain, thunderstorm and wind gusts caused a disruption of electricity in Odesa, Poltava, Lviv, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Khmelnytskyand Kyiv regions, according to the reportof the SESS.
Repair teams of regional energy companies are involved in the work on restoring electricity supply to settlements.
