For the second consecutive year, Ukrainian performers become winners at prestigious international song contests. After last year's victory of Jamala at Eurovision this year Ukrainians have become leaders in the Festival "Slavonic Bazaar song contest in Vitebsk, Belarus

"Yesterday in Belarusian Vitebsk a closing ceremony of the 26th Festival of Arts" Slavonic Bazaar "took place. It is a musical event, known primarily for young performers competition. This competition has brought another victory to Ukraine, because 26-year-old Ukrainian singer Vlad Sytnik became its winner.
In general, the contest of this year was attended by representatives from 21 countries. After two competitive days, representatives of Ukraine and Belarus scored the same number of the jury's points. The final verdict of the jury was announced during the closing concert of Slavonic Bazaar.The jury decided not to award Grand Prix competition to anyone. The first prize and a prize of USD 15 thousand went to our Vlad Sitnik. Second prize and USD 10 thousand to 19-year-old Yegor Sharankov from Belarus and third prize and USD 5000 - to 23-year-old singer from Serbia Nevena Bozhevych.
The jury this year consisted of 8 people. Among them Israeli opera singer Felix Livshits, poet and composer from Italy Depsa, Russian actor and singer Gleb Matviichuk, the famous Serbian singer Philip Zhmaher, former vocalist of Bad boys blue - Kevin McCoy, People's Artist of Belarus Jadwiga Poplavska, music producer of Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine Vladyslav Baginsky and the chairman of the jury Bulgarian singer Yordanka Khristova.
