Opposition Bloc MP Mykhailo Dobkin has said that his fellow faction member Vadym Novynsky on Tuesday contributed UAH 30 million to pay part of his UAH 50 million bail, the remaining UAH 20 million will be provided by co-chairman of the Opposition Bloc party Borys Kolesnikov.
Dobkin recalls the deadline for posting the bail is Thursday. "I will not pay the bail on my own, I do not have the money. My friends have the financial means and they have this money declared, because any amount that is posted as bail is checked by financial monitoring and the origin of the money, its legality is probed," he said.
As reported, on July 15, Pechersky District Court of Kyiv ruled to take MP Dobkin into custody for 60 days, setting bail at UAH 50 million bail.
