During two years of work, the National Police of Ukraine detected more than 300 thousand crimes and detained 180 thousand criminals.
This was announced by head of the National Police Sergiy Knyazev on the occasion of the second anniversary of the creation of the National Police.
"Two years of the National Police of Ukraine, over 300,000 crimes detected, 180,000 detained criminals, we have reached more than 40% of your confidence. Usually we measure success in figures, but behind each of the figures, each achievement, the people are who are in fact the largest attainment because they are driving the reform and building a new, modern, European police, "he said. Knyazev noted that the process of forming the National Police was complicated.
Recall: On August 4 the National Police Day is celebrated in Ukraine.
