The police detained one of the most active protesters near the Verkhovna Rada building on Monday afternoon.
The protesters started rocking the metal fence on the parliament perimeter, and the police responded. Bottles with water and other objects were hurled at the police, who used rubber clubs.
Casualties have occurred in the clash.
