Measles is spreading through the country. Over the past two months in Ternopil region, this infection has been detected in 70 children.

"Medical institutions in Ternopil region received 22,000 doses of vaccines, but many parents are in hesitation whether they should do it. Polls in the social network show that only half of Ternopil parents make all vaccinations, a quarter of them do it selectively, and 15% do not vaccinate babies at all.
City pediatrician of the regional center Olena Fedorova says: last year medical workers did not particularly insisted on the vaccinations because vaccines were not available at children's policlinics .
70 cases of measles disease in the last two months against zero of them in past year give reason to think about the seriousness of the situation. Doctors predict the growth of morbidity with the beginning of the school year. To stop epidemics is possible only if 95% of children are vaccinated. "
