President Petro Poroshenko signed decree to award with the state awards servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine for the courage shown in protecting state sovereignty in the East of Ukraine.
The press service of the President reports.
"Among the awarded military two Ukrainian heroes were awarded posthumously, a marine Mikhailo Kobets and a serviceman of the Group of Civil-Military Cooperation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ensign Igor Drobot," the statement reads.
According to the decree signed by Head of the State , 36 military personnel of the Armed Forces and 12 representatives of the National Guard will receive orders and medals.
