Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak signed an order to increase payments to military personnel serving in the ATO area.
This was announced at a briefing by spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Maxym Prauta.
"According to the order, the additional payment for the personnel performing tasks on the first line of defense is increased up to UAH 10 thousand per month, on the second line up to 4,5 thousand. The military will begin to receive these payments from September," the spokesman said.
According to him, by the minister order the financial support of privates, sergeants and senior officers of high-level landing troops and marines have been increased by 15-20 percent.
