NATO Membership Ukraine’s goal - Prime Minister

“Our goal is membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine become  a part of one of the most powerful collective security systems. Accorting to Article 5 of the Washington Treaty an armed attack against one or more of the member states in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence will assist the Party or Parties attacked.
