"The US has a comprehensive history of partnership with the Kharkiv region. The most ambitious project, which is being implemented today - is funding the research and development of the installation of the neutrons source, on which the scientists are working at Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology. The US government has invested in the project more than $70 million," said Pyatt. "We have big plans for the future," he added. A US delegation, which will include representatives of the government and large corporations, will visit Ukraine this fall, he said. "We believe that the Kharkiv region has a huge potential, and the region is moving forward with confidence," the Ambassador noted.
