Ukrzaliznytsya will implement a pilot project to improve suburban traffic in the direction of Bucha, Irpin, Nemishaiyeve and Brovary by the end of the year.
This was announced at the government meeting by Head of Ukrzaliznytsya Yevgen Kravtsov. "Ukraine is lagging behind from the world in providing the suburban rail traffic, and by the end of this year, a pilot project on suburban traffic in the Kyiv rail junction will begin. It should be a combination of modernized trains running with interval of 20-25 minutes in the most priority directions: Irpin, Bucha, Nemishayeve, Brovary ", said Kravtsov.
We will add that if this project succeeds, it will be implemented during several years in other cities.
