"We hope that a special resolution with recommendations for the Eastern Partnership summit will be finally adopted in the European Parliament next week. This resolution contains a special paragraph that dedicated to this plan, which is called the 'European Plan for Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia'. We hope that during the summit there will be a lot of talk and we will approach the real decisions of the EU on how to bring this plan to life," he said on the air of the 112.Ukraine TV Channel on November 6.
Kubilius noted that the approval of this 'Marshall Plan' for Ukraine directly depends on the agreement of this matter by the EU member states.
On November 6, in Vilnius, the ambassadors of the EU countries, the U.S., Canada and Japan presented the "Marshall Plan" for Ukraine. It is designed for ten years and in the medium term (2018-2020) provides for the allocation of $5 billion per year.
