This was stated by director of the department of mass communications of the regional administration Oleksandr Kostenko. According to him, there are still settlements in the region, where there are problems with reception of signal of Ukrainian television and radio channels.
The matter is about the front-line Popasna and partly Novoaidarsk districts. The installation of a tower in the area should solve the problems of receiving Ukrainian channels in the front line zone, and will also allow to increase the radius of coverage by Ukrainian broadcasting of temporarily uncontrolled territories.
