The mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko and the deputy chairman of the China Pacific Construction Group, Guo Hu, signed an agreement on the construction of the fourth metro line in Kyiv.
This is reported by the press service of the Kyiv city state administration.
It is noted that this agreement provides for the creation of a working group of Ukrainian and Chinese specialists, which will develop the best technical and financial solutions for the implementation of the project.
"The cost of construction is estimated at $ 2 billion, with 85% of the projected cost of the project will be secured by a loan from Chinese financial institutions," the statement said.
The project envisages the construction of a branch from Zhulyany to Troyeschyna with a length of almost 18 km with 13 stations. And also the construction of a transfer line of 1 km in length between a circular inter city train and a new branch of the metro.
