The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations supported a bill proposing to extend the moratorium on alienation, sale and purchase of agricultural land by January 1, 2019.

Deputies recommended that the Verkhovna Rada adopts this bill as a basis and as a whole as a law. The draft law proposes to extend the moratorium on the alienation of agricultural land until the settlement of the procedure for the circulation of agricultural land and the development of necessary regulations, but not before 1 January 2019, at the legislative level.
