President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko handed over to the servicemen of the Armed Forces certificates for 40 medical cars "Hummer" that will be sent to the ATO zone.
The transfer of the cars took place during a working visit of the Head of State to Lviv region at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security, according to the website of the President.
"All forty cars will disperse immediately from here to the brigades in the ATO zone, and from the first day they will work for the Ukrainian army, the Ukrainian soldier," said Petro Poroshenko.
He thanked Laurence Platt, the executive vice president of "AM General" for international defense, who was present at the event for this important contribution to Ukrainian soldiers.
In turn, the US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Jovanovic emphasized that the United States supports Ukraine in protecting its sovereignty, and noted that 40 modern Hummer vehicles equipped for medical care will increase the level of reacting and readiness.
