"It would be a very good idea if the EU formed a new and strong mechanism to support reforms in Ukraine. This would be an association of all countries that have carried out reforms and become EU members over the past 20 years," Yatseniuk said at a joint press conference with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Kyiv on Thursday. Such countries as Slovakia and Poland understand Ukraine's problems better than anyone else, Yatseniuk said. "Surely, this platform should include Slovakia and Poland, and we talked about this with the premier. And everyone could be practically involved, like Slovakia, in helping Ukraine," he said.
