EU Commissioner Hahn optimistic about abolishing visas for Ukrainians

The Commissioner said this to reporters during the annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy in Kyiv. The politician reminded that the decision would be made following analysis of Ukraine's progress in the coming months. The technical decision of the EC should be made in mid-December. "I still can not speak with certainty. I am more optimistic about the positive report of the European Commission now than I was in spring," Hahn said. As reported, Ukraine implements the Visa Liberalization Action Plan, aimed at the abolition of short-term visas to the EU for Ukrainian citizens.
