The prisoner exchange in Donbas will last several hours and the released Ukrainians will be flown to Kyiv on an Ilyushin Il-76 plane, Ukrainian presidential adviser Yuriy Biriukov said.
"We are now preparing. The process is scheduled for noon and it will last about three hours," the official said on his Facebook page on December 27.
The released Ukrainians will be taken to the Boryspil military airfield around 7:00 p.m.
As earlier reported, the Hromadske website said earlier, citing its sources, that the exchange would take place at the Mayorske checkpoint on the contact line near Horlivka in Donetsk region.
