More than 6500 people took part in mass events on the occasion of the 109th anniversary of the birth of the leader of the OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists), Stepan Bandera
This was announced by Deputy Interior Minister Serhiy Yarovyi.
According to him, events took place in 21 regions of the country.
About 1,300 policemen and more than 730 troops of the National Guard of Ukraine were involved to ensure public order.
"Conflicts and collisions were not fixed," said Sergiy Yarovyi.
