This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services Gennady Zubko, Ukrinform reported."In 2017, the revenues of local budgets totaled UAH 192 billion and increased by UAH 45.4 billion, which is by 31% more than in 2016. Financial decentralization increases local budgets too with every year, in 2014, they amounted to 70.2 UAH billion, in 2015 - UAH 99.8 billion, 2016 - UAH 146.6 billion, and in 2017 - UAH 192 billion, "Zubko said.
According to him, the result of the growth of local budgets is also an annual increase each year of balances on treasury accounts of local self-government.
The Vice Prime Minister stressed that local self-government, having received the powers and resources, should increasingly focus on the implementation of quality projects in their communities, to learn to keep financial discipline, that is, to value the resource and use it effectively
