Poroshenko commemorates fallen journalists

“The Head of State paid tribute to all journalists killed in the course of the performance of their professional duties,” the press service informs. Poroshenko later posted on Twitter, "On the anniversary of passing of Georgiy Gongadze, I have paid tribute to the journalists who gave their lives for the truth." As reported, on September 16, 15 years ago journalist Georgiy Gongadze was killed. His name became a symbol of not only professional and independent journalism, but also the beginning of changes in Ukraine.
