Ukraine's Defence Minister to meet with Pentagon chief

"The Defence Minister has authorized me to officially announce that he will pay a working visit to the United States on September 24-25," Dolhov said. He expressed hope that this visit would become the next step in the further expansion of the U.S. logistic support, noting that the visit demonstrates the importance attached by the United States to strategic partnership with Ukraine. According to him, the program of the visit provides for the meeting of the defence ministers of the two countries, negotiations between Poltorak and Deputy Secretary of State, participation of the Ukraine's Defense Minister in the opening of the international event in support of Ukraine in at the U.S. Congress, the visit to the military medical center outside Washington, where the Ukrainian soldiers undergo treatment now.
