This is said in the joint statement of the co-chairs of the parliamentary committee for the EU-Ukraine association Andrej Plenkovic and Ostap Semerak on the first anniversary of the ratification of the Association by the European Parliament and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. "In the following months, we want to focus on the inter-parliamentary dialogue, in particular, on consolidation of the rule of law, fight against corruption, ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, judicial reform, public administration, public health sector, energy sector restructuring, and modernization of public financial management," the parliamentarians note. The European Parliament once again noted its commitment to help Ukraine in peaceful reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as illegally annexed Crimea. As for visa liberalization, the parliamentarians expressed hope that the European Commission would release positive recommendation on the Ukraine's implementation of the action plan before the end of the year.
