The decree of September 22 to award the medals was posted on the president's website on Wednesday. The soldiers either died or were wounded in battles against separatist militants, particularly in hotspots Ilovaisk, Debaltseve, Artemivsk, and near Mariupol from August 2014 to July 2015.
