This was stressed by Prime Arseniy Yatseniuk, at the session of the National Council for reforms.
He also noted that the law on higher education is progressive and is a great achievement since it has given more autonomy, particularly financial.to institutions.
In addition, the Act created the agency to ensure the quality of higher education. Due to the reduction of inefficient state universities the state will be able to concentrate budget financial resources to develop those universities that are able to provide quality education.
Separately, Prime focused on the issue of teaching staff and reforming secondary education. Prime Minister called it a more complex issue than changes in high school.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed the need to introduce the election of school directors throughout Ukraine, as it has been already done in Kiev and is planned to do in Chernivtsi.
