The Verkhovna Rada allowed the local authorities in the area ATO at own expense to restore damaged infrastructure.
At today's meeting the Ukrainian MPs voted for appropriate changes to the Budget Code.
According to the Treasury, the volume of the frozen funds at treasury accounts of local budgets in the Donetsk region makes UAH 2 billion, and in the Luhansk region - nearly one billion.
The funds will be transferred to the special fund, and these funds will come in the form of subventions to local budgets for infrastructure rehabilitation and socio-economic development of these regions.
