"We don't need foreign soldiers. Ukrainians have enough military skills and strength of mind to protect their lands from the occupants. But we're grateful for non-lethal defence arms, which we finally started getting," the president said on Wednesday opening an arms exhibition in central Kyiv, on the occasion of the Day of Defender of Ukraine. The head of state reported that not just Ukraine-manufactured equipment was on display, but also samples supplied by allies and partners. "Acting through the envoys of the foreign states, I want to express gratitude for that extremely important support and assistance, which you already rendered and keep rendering to Ukraine and its brave defenders," Poroshenko stressed.
