Ukraine to participate in air exercise during NATO's Joint Exercise Trident Juncture 2015

According to the Ukrainian Mission to NATO, a Ukrainian Il-76MD transport aircraft will be involved in joint missions with NATO in Italy and Spain during the exercise. Exercise Trident Juncture 2015 is the largest and most ambitious of the NATO exercises which have taken place over the last decade. The exercise will be held during October-November in Italy, Portugal and Spain. The exercise will involve 36,000 troops from 30 countries. The purpose of the Exercise Trident Juncture is to demonstrate the high level of the combat readiness of NATO and its ability to respond to new security challenges.
