Law on lustration cosidered by Constitutional Court

The Constitutional Court continued the hearing on the constitutionality of certain provisions of the law "On cleaning power." The meeting was attended by 13 judges, therefore, there is a quorum. The court refused to postpone the trial on the constitutionality of the Law on lustration despite impossibility of the presence of representative of the Verkhovna Rada Leonid Emets at the meeting. Meanwhile, at the building of the Constitutional Court several dozens of activists are holding protest action. They declare the illegitimacy of the current composition of the court to consider the law on lustration, because 8 of the 18 judges  are eligible for lustration by this Act.
