Ukrainian domestic passports to be issued as plastic card will cost UAH 100-160 without VAT. This is what President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko told journalists while visiting Ukraina Polygraph Combine printing and publishing plant, which will produce such cards.
According to him, a machine that produces and completes printing ID cards, worth a million euros.The president said that a plastic card will store over 400 kilobytes of data, including a photograph, general information about a person. In future, health and taxation-related data about this person and more information could be added.
