More than 100 are in captivity of Ukrainian militants in the east.
This is what Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak said on an interview to "Ukrainian News".
According to him, the return of hostages - a difficult process, because every time the militants alter the conditions of exchange. Besides this Poltorak said that the Ukrainian army approaches to NATO standards. In particular, he called populist appeals to abolish conscription to military service and to move to contract army.
