Sweeping reform of judicial system needed

This is what Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov says. Arsen Avakov suggests the sweeping reform of the judicial system when the existing courts stop working for three months while new judges are being selected on a competitive basis.

In his view, no reform of the Interior Ministry and the police will help change the real state of things in law enforcement sphere. Full rebooting with the recruitment of new members, professional competition, and a real external performance review of the current judiciary is needed.
