From February 2015 over 23.5 thousand servicemen received 106 million hryvnia for their direct participation in the fighting in eastern Ukraine. This was informed during a briefing by spokesperson for the Defense Ministry, Colonel Viktoria Kushnir.
She said the payments to Ukrainian defenders will continue. Over the past week more than 1.5 thousand military received UAH 5 million.
