Yatseniuk asks social policy ministry to raise social standards

Ukraine's Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has asked Social Policy Minister Pavlo Rozenko to prepare an increase of social standards by 6% on May 1.Yatseniuk said the Social Policy Ministry received instructions to prepare a special government resolution to ensure an automatic increase of salaries and pensions, avoiding excessive bureaucracy. Social standards would be raised by 12% overall this year, Yatseniuk said.
