Debate on candidates for post of Attorney General continue in Parliament

Faction "People's Front" is ready to support the candidacy of Yuriy Lutsenko to the post of Attorney General. This was stated by MP from this political power Anton Gerashchenko. According to him, the "People's Front" supports the idea to have the General Prosecutor's office chaired  by a person from outside this system. To make such an appointment was necessary to amend the law on the Prosecutor General's Office. Pro-presidential faction "BPP" urges to consider the relevant bill today. Meanwhile faction "Samopomich" opposes the appointment of a politician to the post of Prosecutor General , believing that prosecutors must be independent of political processes. This was stated by MP from "Samopomich " Ruslan Sydorovych.
