Ukrainian army observes 56 militant attacks in Donbas in past 24 hours

Militants from the self-proclaimed Donbas republics conducted 56 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in the past 24 hours, the press center of the army operation staff in eastern Ukraine said on July 12.The staff reported 23 shelling incidents in the Donetsk sector. The militants' 120mm mortars bombarded Ukrainian army positions in Avdiyivka, Dacha and Mayorsk, while Ukrainian positions near the Butivka mine, Avdiyivka and Zaitseve were shelled by 82mm mortars.
