The Ukrainian Justice Ministry has asked its Russian colleagues to explain the absence of Russia's response to an earlier request seeking the extradition of Ukrainian citizens Stanyslav Klykh and Mykola Karpiuk, who were given prison terms in Russia, Ukrainian First Deputy Justice Minister Natalia Sevostianova has said, noting that about ten requests regarding the extradition of Ukrainian political prisoners were sent to Russia. But Russia has a selective approach for choosing norms of the Convention for the return to be performed," she said.
