Ukrainian Speaker proposes to broaden sanctions against Russia

Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy said that there is a point in raising the issue and going back to the introduction of a visa regime with Russia. He believes there is also a point in discussing the issue of broadening the sanctions against Russia. This is what the speaker said on October 3  after a meeting of the conciliatory council of the heads of factions, committees and groups of the parliament.Parubiy came up with this initiative in light of the detention in Russia of Roman Suschenko, a correspondent with the Ukrainian agency Ukrinform.
