The Verkhovna Rada has appealed to the government and parliament of the Netherlands for the completion of the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.The document, in particular, noted that the refusal of the Netherlands to ratify the Association Agreement would put into question the reliability and credibility of the entire European Union as a partner in the eyes of Ukrainian and other international partners.
Already 27 Member States had the necessary procedures for the ratification of the Agreement and transferred to the relevant instruments of ratification to the depositary. The Netherlands delay the process.
Some 235 people's deputies voted for the corresponding decision at the plenary session on Wednesday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
