In the Eurovision Song Contest, to be held next year in Ukraine, 43 member countries will participate, including Russia. This is evidenced by the information on the contest website. Earlier, Ukraine has banned entry to a number of Russian artists who support Putin's aggressive actions. The representative of Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest should be a person who has not got to the list of sanctions.
The list of participating countries, in particular includes Romania and Portugal, which were absent at this year contest. For the third time Australia will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest, but Bosnia and Herzegovina will not participate in the competion next year.
