“The adoption of the draft law envisages amendments to the Customs Code regarding bringing transit procedures in line with European standards, namely the Convention on common transit procedure and the Convention on the simplification of formalities in trade in goods,” reads a report. In particular, it is planned that Ukraine will use certain types of customs declarations similar to those used in the EU for the common transit procedure in trade between the contractual parties of the conventions. The draft law also envisages the implementation of customs formalities in Ukraine with the use of information and telecommunication systems based on European technologies that operate at international level.
