President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on July 17 will visit Odesa region with a working trip, the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration said.
Joint border control between Ukraine and Moldova has been introduced at the Kuchurgan-Pervoimaisk crossing, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said.
"We are starting with joint border control with Moldova with the participation of the EU at the Kuchurgan-Pervomaisk crossing. This is one more step towards controlling the borders according to EU standards," Klimkin said on his Facebook page.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova announced the joint crossing point would be opened on Monday with the participation of Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
The joint border crossing is being opened pursuant to an intergovernmental agreement supported by the EU within framework of the bloc's neighborhood policy aimed at modernizing the integrated management of borders.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova announced the joint crossing point would be opened with the participation of Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
Today, the President of Ukraine will go on a state visit to Georgia.
