Закінчив Київський національний університет імені Тараса Шевченка (за спеціальністю "Журналістика").
Почав із посади редактора та ведучого англомовного випуску новин. Також брав безпосередню участь у запуску першого українського телеканалу іномовлення. З того часу мовлення англійською для закордонної аудиторії стало свого роду покликанням.
У роботі пишається своєю здатністю залишатися спокійним за майже будь-яких обставин.
Про свої хобі жартівливо розповідає: "Захоплююсь історичною публіцистикою та відеоіграми. А загалом обожнюю нічого не робити. Уміння не перевантажувати себе й чітко розставляти життєві пріоритети вважаю одним із своїх найбільших досягнень".
