Education and Science Minister of Ukraine Liliia Hrynevych has called on Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers to include UAH 1.848 billion in the state budget 2018 for reforms.This was stated by the Minister in an interview with the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
Ukraine's Education Ministry recommends UAH 1.85 billion for education reforms in 2018.
"The total amount is UAH 1,847,941,300, and is the amount that we will submit to the Finance Ministry for review. Some UAH 373 million is for textbooks, UAH 600 million for classroom repair, UAH 520 million for training teachers and UAH 55 million for creating a national electronic platform (New Ukrainian School) where education materials will be available for students and teachers," Hrynevych said.
