New editions of the Commercial Procedural Code, the Civil Procedural Code and the Code of Administrative Procedure came into force.
The decision on the date of the entry into force of the codes was approved at the plenary session of the new Supreme Court on November 30, "Ukrainian News" reports.
New procedural codes came into force at the same time as the new Supreme Court began work on December 15th. At the same time, the old Supreme Court and the higher specialized courts (administrative, economic, specialized court for the consideration of civil and criminal cases) stopped functioning.
Changes to the Criminal Procedure Code, in particular on the limitation of the terms of pre-trial investigation, will come into force in 3 months - March 15, 2018.
