"Solar Chornobyl" Company has started construction of a solar power plant on the ChNPP site, which will produce 1024 MW of electricity per year.
It is reported by the press service of the State Specialized Enterprise "ChNPP".
"In October 2017, Solar Chornobyl started an active phase of construction and installation work for the construction of the first solar power plant on the Chornobyl NPP site," the report said.
Currently, according to the press service, technological equipment is being delivered to the construction site, installation of units under steel structures is carried out, preparatory work are under way that are done before the installation of steel structures.
