Kyiv's Solomiansky District Court will consider on December 6 the protocol on an administrative offense drawn up by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) against Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk.
"The meeting has been postponed until 10.00 on December 6," the court told journalists on November 28. According to sources, the reason for moving the meeting is allegedly the absence of Sytnyk in Ukraine, but Interfax-Ukraine does not have confirmation of this information.The meeting was to be held early on November 28.
On November 13, Sytnyk arrived at the NACP to get a protocol on him allegedly committing him an administrative offense due to the fact that he did not provide certain documents at the request of the NACP. Sytnyk told reporters that the issue concerns the fact that he allegedly used the NABU's legal capabilities in his own personal interests.
Later, the NABU said that the NACP established in July 2017 that Sytnyk had the right to instruct the head of the bureau's legal department to represent his interests in the course of the judicial proceedings in the administrative case.
