The District Administrative Court of Kyiv has filed a lawsuit from Mikheil Saakashvili to the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
This is reported by the press service of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv.
"The plaintiff asks the court to admit illegal and illegitimate inaction of the State Migration Service of Ukraine for consideration of the complaint and notification of refusal to issue documents to resolve the issue of the recognition of Mikheil Saakashvili as a refugee or a person who needs additional protection within the timeframe prescribed by law," the statement reads.
The plaintiff also asks the court to oblige the State Migration Service to consider the relevant complaints and communications. The court is considering the opening of proceedings.
